Welcome to our virtual tour of Woodside School
As part of a literacy and ICT project, Y6 pupils were asked to put work together to create a virtual tour of the
school. We worked in groups of 3 or 4 to describe each of 10 different areas.
This tour will give you details about our school day, our buildings, our exciting lessons and our outdoor

School logo and motto
When Mrs Simpson took over as our Head, she sent a letter to every pupil of the school to find out their opinion
about a new school motto. Each child ticked a box to decide on the motto they liked best. The over all winner was
“ Together we grow and learn.”
Now this motto is on top of each of the letters and on our website too!
School Setting
The school caters for more than 200 children from Baddesley, Grendon and the surrounding area.
The school is called Woodside because we are enclosed by woods on three sides; this offers a fantastic
external learning space as well as providing a beautiful vista for our everyday learning.
