On Saturday 15th May, Mrs Simpson. accompanied by the Head Boy and Girl represented Woodside at a service to commemorate 100 years of the Royal British Legion.  The service took place in the churchyard at St Nicholas Church and a wreath was laid on behalf of staff and pupils at Woodside.
The Royal British Legion was formed in May 1921 by Lance Bombardier Tom Lister to improve the lives of ex-Servicemen who had served in the Great War and has continued to support ex-Servicemen and their families ever since.
